I think that's like 90% of babies first word... Boston says it sometimes but I don't think he's made any connection with it yet so I'm impressed. I read on babycenter that babies usually call both their parents da-da for a few months before they finally get the word mom. Does he call you da-da too?
Hee hee! I think every mom trains & tries to get their kid to say Mama first & every kid says Da da first. Oh well! It's good for the Dads & makes them happy. We know who the kids really want. ;o)
Oh, don't worry, you will have many days of mama mama and you will forget that you have another name!! LOL. Taylor said mama first but Kennedy said dada first. He was out of town on a ski trip and missed it. She also got her first tooth that week!
hey, you don't know me, but you're on our fridge. :) Jared and I were in the same stake growing up. Noah looks adorable! Our baby, Gwen, isn't talking yet, so I can't answer your question.
That's cute! Maggie will say dada better than she says mama...dang it! (:
Oh, and Bret's program is the Spanish linguistic program in Indiana-he will get a Masters, then PhD. And we just got called by the housing and we are accepted and will most likely have an apt by the time we move there!

He is just making sure he gets lots of practice before he starts on the important words.
